SlogsCenter: Reem & Saed Taweel Homer for the Stars

Reem Amireh-Taweel and Saed Taweel, her husband, went yard (sorta) in back-to-back at-bats in the bottom of the 2nd inning. Their victims were the Slackers. Yes, this is the second straight week that the Slackers have been on the wrong end of the Highlight of the Week. How do they keep doing it? Teamwork, baby. But hey, the Orange won the game, and that's all we care about.

All the SlogsCenter Highlights shall be gathered HERE

Nice Job Mude!

I now see what you mean by teamwork... on a simple grounder back to the pitcher... you managed to get your whole team involved in chasing the ball down the right field line... That was very considerate of you guys to do so... the traitors would have had the pitcher pick up the ball and throw to 1st for the out... I now see how that is selfish and "un-softball" like as it would not have involved the rest of the team.

Shush, EZ. Your pitcher would have done no such thing. He never has picked up a grounder that was more than 6 inches away from him, and he never will.

I don't need to field grounders...a pitchers job is to let the infield field their positions right?

Point for Mude go Mude. It showed of Friday that Big EZ and FooFoo want to be with the slackers so bad that they came to our dugout. Concerning both of your applications sorry to say they have been rejected for not being team players.

Mude:

I hate to correct you but with my size 18 feet that means my range is two feet to either side.

And.....Ash is right I came for the shade and the free drinks and to talk with Ash.

Circle August 10th on your calendar because that is the next time ya'll get taken out behind "the ole wood shed"

Not cocky...just confident and confident teams have a little swagger about them everyone hates.

Who's Next??????

That would be true...if this were soccer and you were allowed to use your feet. I stand by my statement: Six inches. Ya gotta field your position.

Don't worry Wazabi my friend...I can assure you August 10th you won't even see First Base unless you are playing Defense.

hummm... only one undefeated team left... still think the sluggos are the team to shoot for?

ummmmm being away for a week got me thinking; not sure if I should share my thoughts here, or now!!..and after reading the ongoing onslaught against our very own crafty (and KRAFT-y) mate, I am opting to refrain from any comments and will save my words for the next blog battle..

For now, Foofoo I still think "we should be together"...Oh and Big Ez, you are truly fuelling the ultimate comeback; operas end with a high resonate and big mama has yet to step up on the stage..

Hey guys and gals,

Mabrook Slackers on beating the Beats ( we will not mention that we also played the Nomads this morning).

And congratulations Traitors on beating the Eagles, that was the fastest game I ever watched on that field. Great catch, Abeer!!

Due to the fact that Ash and Abeer are guilty of treason, I now basically get to spend the whole Friday at the softball field. No complaints, I'm having fun. The Traitors may have the better numbers on the board, but the Slackers have KitKat and Frapuccino!!:)

Good luck to all next week - and I have a feeling August 10 I will be in Aqaba:)

As if Willy needs anymore chocolate. I suggest Valium in Pez Dispensers should be installed in the Slackers dugout.

Two Beers--one helluva a catch gurl.

Oh Yeah Don..."Look, if you had one shot, or one opportunity
To seize everything you ever wanted- One moment
Would you capture it or just let it slip?"

Foofoo, I am flabbergasted...but in response to your question: I believe that I will not miss my chance to blow, "this opportunity comes once in a lifetime yo"..

"This world is mine for the taking" buddy...
