I'm still not sure what's so strange about not playing if the sun has set. I had to explain WHY to several of your teammates. They found it to be rather funny. Was that the beer laughing?
In my humble opinion, I think my teammates were laughing because they felt that the Monsters are scared of a GoodFella's Comback? or maybe the beer..dunno!
But I can tell you that we enjoy playing the Monsters and we believe we will beat the Monsters in the Championship game!
I also love the fact that GoodFellas are not taken as an "easy W" this season

GoodFellas aren't an easy win. You guys come to play. Still, we were up by 12 with the sun setting and the game officially over. I told Bucky we'd play on as long as there was daylight. I guess that was somehow an indication of us being scared. Right.
We would have been terrified, but on only one condition: If the GoodFellas came out with night vision goggles.
Next time, we'll just keep skipping our turn to bat and let you guys have inning after inning of batting until you win. Is that what you need? ;)

To concluce a not-so-long post, I'm actually pretty happy for Nasser Majali for finally walking off the field able to say, "my team won." Congrats my man, I'm sure it feels good.
Maher: I'm literally counting down the days until I get back and play with the Goodfellas. Finally I get to play with the notorious Thugnificent, my dream has come true haha!!! Not to mention the rest of the crew like Tank, Big S, T-Pain. I hope I can still get some games in by the time I back.

Two-faced, Massarweh? First, there was the Nomads. That's Zaki's first face. Then he went knocking on ELE's door. Then he peeked into the Monsters' green window. Finally, he pretended to join GoodFellas, even inventing a jersey number for himself! That's FOUR faces, and we're not even sure if he went begging to the Slackers for at-bats.
But then Zaki went to the States, and I hear he's trying to join an all-women's league there. He apparently doesn't know of ASL's Ringer/Sandbagging Rule: If you don't play in the regular season, you cannot play in the Tournament.

What was said was somewhat true, barely. I was at one point considering the possibility of joining the Monsters to change things up a bit. Why not huh?! As for the Slackers, the invite was actually made by Walid and I said I'd think about it, so no begging done there. ELE, were since we're talking about shitty players with some shitty abbreviations, how's GFY sound ELE? No, that doesn't stand for good for you, figure it out panzies ;)
If I can't make it back in time for a regular season game and play in the tourney, oh well, what can you do. Believe me the purpose of our trip to the U.S. of A is worth every second even if I do miss out on this season. Might be much better than watching another episode of "ASL, Season 5: Same Shit, Different Season"

FYI for you, I never stated who's the best outfielder or even mention "ME" as being that person. If "MY" team has the best outfielder and he's better, more power to them man. At least the spot is filled in well. You never saw or hear me saying anything about turning down a Pro Softball draft did you? Did I ever say anything about them missing me oh so much and just can't wait for me to come back? I don't think I did. What I said was that I can't wait to come back and at least try to get some game time in. However, if as you say, they have a better outfielder and no need for me to be in the outfield, then so be it and more power to the Goodfellas. Sugar smack talk is what it's all about, it wouldn't be the ASL Slogs without some of that. Hope you fully recover and we can have you back on the mound next season. A batter NEEDS a big mouth like you to get his adrenaline going. Will you still walk Gator if she charges the mound? I hope so.
