Hey Kids... Amman Softball League's Summer Season will begin on June 13. If you were a captain during the Winter '08 Season, expect an email with info to hop into your inbox tomorrow morning (May 27). If you're new to ASL and wish to participate, either by joining a team or forming a new one, please use the contact info (in the sidebar of this page...over there, to the right) to contact me. Please don't send a text message, though. I hate that crap. Players who are at least 18 years old are welcome. Children, however, can go do what children do here in Jordan: Disturb my nap time, throw junk food wrappers in the street, and generally act like a walking ad for birth control. Happy Swingin'!

The yet to be named team that Brooke is on has dibs on the field Wednesday, June 18, at 4 pm.
You guys need to remember there is a baseball camp going on and IF you are playing on the small field you BEST be shagging down all the balls you steroid freaks hit over a 200 foot fence.

Why is Mude being a Pamsy and not letting us use our bats that we have invested considerable amounts of money in?

Too funny. How many bats have you (or any other Nomad) ever bought to use in ASL?
None?
Don't you mean to say, "Why can't we use all the bats that OTHER people have invested in?"
Besides, check the RULES (Note: Requires reading) that YOU approved as a captain the last couple of seasons and you'll see that those bats have ALWAYS been illegal. That has never changed since our first season.
More on this later, as the Grandfather Clause will kick in for a few bats. Going forward, BUY LEGAL BATS.
For the record I have bought two bats for the Nomads to use... One of which is legal. Total value 500$
I might have approved it... But if I approved.. you never ENFORCED it "Mr. Softball Co-ordinator" person who can surprisingly read.
I have also approved that swinging at flat pitches is considered a strike among other things...that was also never ENFORCED.
