Week 5.5: A Legend Is Born

History was made today by Hit Squad's Mailyn Magpanty when she became Amman Softball League's first ever female pitcher. She didn't just pitch, either. Mailyn only gave up seven runs in a complete game, had four strikeouts, two unassisted putouts and, as usual, did well with the bat. Hit Squad couldn't get the win for her, but we are all very proud of the way Mailyn played today. We'll have some video featuring a couple of those strikeouts very soon. Welcome to Legend Status, Mailyn! The full results from Friday, Feb. 8 (Details to follow soon): Nomads 32, 4U2NV 14 Nomads 23, Trojans 20 Trojans 7, Hit Squad 1

Uh-oh, Kinzi. Maher very well MAY have been one of the strikeouts. Maybe he was even the FIRST one.

But it's his birthday, so we'll leave it for tomorrow. ;)

Nomads did a great job!!! Thanks to our cheering haha!!

Mude..you're hilarious btw!! When the nomads win the championship game, the party will be thrown at our house, so we'll invite the green monsters to celebrate the nomads victory. hehe

Zaki .. yes good catch.

But I must admit though... those were two UGLY wins for the Nomads. Nothing to be proud about.

Lets regroup and concentrate on the Green Puke.

IF we are your only competition then what are YA'LL doin with TWO losses?

I think i'm be speaking on behalf of the team if I said that those 2 losses are from our own carelessness,

We've made up for them already, and we're still going to add 2 more, i promise =)

Kevin My freind, you know that there will always be bumps on the road when your reaching Glory, it can never be perfect....thats why the Green Monster's bump will be coming up next week with that first loss that you all think won't happen..6-0, 4-2, 1-5 it doesn't matter, the point is the Nomads will be holding that GOLD at the end.....Remember AGE does matter, we have a young team...couple of more games and the GMs won't be able to run with us Cheif...;)

Kevin, I wish my team could back it up too my friend. Sad but true. So far they havent. Hopefully this time around they will. I am still waiting.

Who is Hot Pants?

Captain its me Rihani, this is what some of the other team members called me on our game last Friday because of my White Baseball Pants....what ever it takes to get that (W) ......

Being old has nothing to do with it. IT is the EXPERIENCE that pays off my friend.

Pick the brain of the Freak and he will tell you what it takes, he has been there.

It's just amusing how ya'll talk so much Gus and well...you know. You don't see us talking anything, why? Because we don't HAVE to.

Anonymous said...

you will after this game kevin :)~

Come on now foofoo, the Nomads just have so much heart that we're always the first to talk, pumped and ready to go.

The Freak finally came to his senses and came to where he belongs, NOMADS BABY, NOMADS!

Big C, like I told foofoo, we're ready to go!

peace out
